ITINERARY:
DAY 1 : ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI, KENYA – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY (D)
- Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
- Clear immigraton and customs then meet with local guide and transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
- Dinner and overnight in Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
DAY 2 : OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY – ABERDARE (B/L/D)
- Breakfast and check out.
- Proceed for Morning Game Drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy Park.
- Continue to Aberdare National Park.
- Lunch then if time permits, continue for Afternoon Game Drive.
- Dinner and overnight in Aberdare.
DAY 3 : ABERDARE – LAKE NAIVASHA (B/L/D)
- Breakfast in hotel and check out.
- Drive to Lake Naivasha.
- Continue on for Boat Safari on Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island Walk.
- Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha.
Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies north west of Nairobi. It is situated in the Great Rift Valley. The name derives from the local Maasai name, meaning "that which heaves," a common Maasai word for bodies of water large enough to have wave action when it is windy or stormy. Naivasha arose from a British attempt to pronounce the Maasai name. Literally, Lake Naivasha means "Lake Lake."
DAY 4 : LAKE NAIVASHA – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE (B/L/D)
- Breakfast at hotel and check out, proceed to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
- Upon arrival, proceed for lunch.
- Continue to Maasai Mara for Afternoon Game Drive inside the Maasai Mara Park.
- Dinner and overnight in Maasai Mara.
Maasai Mara, sometimes also spelt Masai Mara and locally known simply as The Mara, is a large national game reserve in Narok County, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is named in honour of the Maasai people,the ancestral inhabitants of the area, who migrated to the area from the Nile Basin. Maasai Mara is one of the wildlife conservation and wilderness areas in Africa, with its populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs and African bush elephants. It also hosts the Great Migration, which secured it as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and as one of the ten Wonders of the World.The Great Migration usually happens in July depending on weather as the wildebeest moves in large numbers crossing the Mara River from Tanzania.
DAY 5 : MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE (B/L/D)
- After breakfast, proceed for Morning Game Drive around the park.
- Lunch then continue for Maasai Village Visit.
- Continue for Afternoon Game Drive and optional Hot Air Balloon Safari.
- Dinner and overnight in Maasai Mara.
DAY 6 : MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE – NAIROBI (B/L/D)
- Breakfast then checkout, proceed back to Nairobi.
- Lunch then continue to local shooping and craft centre – Utamaduni.
- Dinner and overnight in Nairobi.
DAY 7 : NAIROBI DEPARTURE (B)
- Breakfast and check out.
- Visit Giraffe Center and Karen Blixen Museum.
- Proceed to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for flight departure.
- Depart with fond memories of your amazing Kenya & Tanzania Safari Experience.
